Purpose & Scope of Job
The HR Head will be responsible for leading and driving Corporate HR functions including Recruitment, Performance Management System (PMS), Policies & Compliance, Rewards & Benefits, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, and IR/POSH governance.
The role requires a strategic and execution-driven HR leader who can design frameworks, implement structured processes, ensure statutory and policy compliance, and strengthen organizational culture across Corporate Office and Sites.
Roles & Responsibilities
Corporate Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for Corporate and Site positions.
- Ensure closure of open positions within 30 days (subject to receipt of complete information from HODs).
- Design and implement structured onboarding framework.
- Develop and implement Onboarding & Orientation Manual (including regional language versions for sites).
- Ensure minimum 2-month retention for new Corporate hires.
- Maintain proper documentation and backup of:
- Appointment Letters
- FNF documents
- Offer Letters
- Onboarding documentation
- Ensure smooth site onboarding process in coordination with Site Managers.
2. Performance Management System
- Design, develop, and implement structured PMS framework for:
- Annual increments
- Mid-year reviews
- Succession planning
- Create PMS SOP for FY 202526 and ensure smooth transition.
- Ensure timely closure of appraisal cycles.
- Address PMS-related queries within 3 working days.
- Monitor performance review compliance across departments.
- Drive performance culture aligned with business objectives.
3. Policies, Compliance & Governance
- Draft, amend, and implement HR policies as per organizational needs.
- Create minimum 15 new HR policies annually.
- Amend existing policies as required.
- Ensure statutory compliance across sites.
- Address IR matters and POSH-related issues in a timely and confidential manner.
- Ensure closure of employee grievances within 15 days.
- Conduct policy awareness sessions across all locations.
4. Rewards & Recognition, Engagement & Wellbeing (30%)
- Design and implement Rewards & Recognition framework.
- Initiate minimum 3 employee engagement/innovation initiatives annually.
- Drive engagement activities at site level (quarterly visits).
- Conduct L&D and engagement sessions across sites once every quarter.
- Promote employee wellbeing initiatives aligned with company culture.
- Improve retention and employee morale through structured programs.
5. Learning & Development (15%)
- Prepare annual training calendar based on Training Need Analysis (TNA).
- Develop training modules and content (shared KPI with HR team).
- Conduct quarterly L&D training for all sites (including policy awareness).
- Monitor training effectiveness and feedback.
- Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
6. HR Operations & Administration
- Ensure smooth functioning of HR operations and administrative activities.
- Maintain HR documentation audit readiness.
- Ensure timely processing of FNF, letters, and employee records.
- Support business leaders with HR advisory and strategic inputs.
Experience & Commitment
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources.
- 812 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong exposure to Corporate HR, PMS implementation, Policy drafting, IR & Compliance.
- Experience handling multi-location/site operations.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and POSH regulations.
- Proven ability to independently lead HR initiatives.
- Willingness to travel across sites (Pan-India).
