Assistant Manager – HR (Recruitment)

Organization: Rama University

Location: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Experience Required: Minimum 6 years (University/College experience mandatory)

Job Summary:

Rama University is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager – HR (Recruitment) to manage end-to-end recruitment processes, build strong corporate relations, and ensure compliance with regulatory norms. The role demands strategic planning, team leadership, and effective coordination with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage and execute timely recruitment for academic and non-academic positions
  • Develop sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates
  • Coordinate interviews, selection processes, and onboarding

2. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure recruitment aligns with AICTE / UGC / NCISM norms
  • Maintain proper documentation and compliance records

3. Corporate Relations & Networking

  • Build and maintain strong connections with industry, institutions, and professionals
  • Strengthen employer branding and talent pipelines

4. Team Management

  • Lead and manage the recruitment team
  • Assign targets, monitor performance, and ensure efficiency

5. Policy Formation & Implementation

  • Assist in drafting HR recruitment policies and frameworks
  • Ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement

6. Interdepartmental Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with the Registrar Department for approvals and documentation
  • Collaborate with academic departments for manpower planning

Required Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in recruitment (mandatory in University/College)
