Job Description

NextStep HR is partnering with a prominent textile manufacturing and export organization with a strong international footprint and integrated plant and corporate operations. We are seeking an Assistant Manager Human Resources who will play a key role in strengthening HR operations, enabling transformation initiatives, and managing the complete employee lifecycle across multiple locations, while collaborating closely with plant leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRMS/HCM initiatives, including system transition from Oracle to a new platform
  • Oversee end-to-end HR processes such as talent acquisition, onboarding, confirmations, and separation formalities
  • Drive employee lifecycle management while ensuring adherence to HR policies across all units
  • Work closely with business heads and plant leadership on workforce planning and optimization strategies
  • Develop and monitor HR MIS, dashboards, and reports to support data-driven decision-making
  • Manage payroll inputs, attendance, and leave records with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Administer employee benefits including insurance, mediclaim, and other welfare programs
  • Lead performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, and appraisal cycles
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, grievance resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure seamless coordination between corporate HR, plant teams, and administrative functions.

Candidate Profile:

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification (full-time)
  • 67 years of HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or plant-driven setups
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and performance frameworks
  • Practical experience with HRMS/HCM tools, including exposure to system implementation or migration projects
  • Proficiency in HR analytics, reporting, and dashboard creation
  • Familiarity with platforms like Keka or similar HR systems will be advantageous
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
