Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Manager located in Ahmedabad. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing the HR department and ensuring that HR strategies align with the company's goals. Tasks include recruitment, handling employee relations, performance management, developing HR policies, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws. Additionally, the HR Manager will be responsible for employee training and development, maintaining employee records, and addressing employee grievances.

Job Description:

1. Recruitment and Staffing:

Develop and implement strategies for recruitment and retention.

Filling open positions, screening resumes & conduct interviews.

Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires

2. Employee Relations:

Promote and maintain positive employee relations

Address and resolve employee grievances, complaints, and disputes

Advise management on employee issues and ensure compliance with laws and regulations

3. Training and Development:

Design and implement training programs.

Identify training needs and develop training materials

Coordinate and deliver training sessions

4. Performance Management:

Develop and implement performance management programs.

Provide coaching, counseling, and feedback to employees to improve their performance.

Design KPI and KRAs for performance evaluations

Conduct performance evaluations and recommend promotions, transfers, and terminations as necessary

5. Compensation and Benefits:

Administer employee compensation and benefits programs.

Designing of incentive policy and disbursement as per the policy.

Conduct market research to ensure the company's compensation and benefits package remains competitive

Advice management on employee engagement activities to develop a positive work environment.

6. Manage the company's payroll process with the team.

7. Any other role as may be delegated by the management.

8. Compliance:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Maintain and update the employee handbook and other HR policies and procedures

9. Skill Requirement:

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and project management skills
