Job Description

Are you the kind of HR professional who enjoys building structure where it does not yet fully exist

Our client is a fast-growing business with operations across multiple markets and a growing India team based in Noida. As the business continues to scale, our client is looking for a hands-on HR Manager to strengthen the India HR function, streamline people processes, and help create a more structured, consistent employee experience.

This is not a role for someone who wants to simply maintain existing HR processes. It is suited to someone who enjoys identifying gaps, building from the ground up, and working closely with leadership to shape a practical and scalable HR function for a growing business.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day HR operations across India, while also supporting recruitment, policy development, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, compliance, and engagement initiatives. You will act as the main HR point of contact for employees in Noida, ensuring the team receives consistent, professional, and practical HR support.

This role will challenge and develop your abilities across HR operations, recruitment, policy creation, employee engagement, and stakeholder management. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, influence how HR is structured in India, and play a key role in supporting the business as it continues to grow.

Given the hands-on nature of the role and the level of ownership required, we will be looking for candidates who meet the below criteria:

  • 7–10 years of HR experience, ideally within a fast-growing business environment.
  • Strong generalist HR experience across HR operations, recruitment, policies, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Comfortable working independently in a hands-on role without a large HR team or fully established structure.
  • Strong understanding of Indian employment practices, HR compliance, and local HR requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner closely with business leaders and support employees professionally.

This is a strong opportunity for an HR professional who wants to move beyond execution and play a meaningful role in shaping the HR function for a growing India business.

Based on the attached job description and the job advert structure provided.
