Position Title: HR Manager Training, Placement & Student Success

We bridge the gap between academic finance education and real-world MNC employment by delivering career-focused, US GAAP and CMA-aligned training programs to Indian students and early-career professionals. Role Overview
The HR Manager will be the backbone of Finnexwise's human capital and student success ecosystem. This individual will own three critical pillars: student employability development, data governance, and industry tie-up partnerships. The role requires a self-starter who thrives in a remote-first, startup environment and is passionate about shaping careers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Development Interview Preparation, Communication & Leadership
- Design and deliver structured training programs covering mock interviews, resume building, group discussions, and corporate communication for entry-level job seekers
- Develop soft skills curricula covering business etiquette, email writing, stakeholder communication, and leadership fundamentals aligned to MNC expectations
- Conduct live online sessions, webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions via virtual platforms
- Create and continuously update training content, assessment tools, and feedback frameworks
- Track student progress and provide actionable feedback to improve placement readiness
- Collaborate with the academic team to align career development content with course curriculum
2. Student & Employee Data Management
- Maintain a comprehensive, well-organized database of enrolled students, alumni, and internal employees using appropriate digital tools (Google Sheets, CRM, or HRMS platforms)
- Manage student onboarding documentation, attendance records, assessment scores, and placement outcomes
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable privacy standards
- Generate regular reports on student engagement, training completion rates, and placement statistics for leadership review
- Maintain employee records including offer letters, NDAs, performance reviews, and attendance logs
3. Industry Tie-Ups Internship & Placement Partnerships
- Proactively identify, approach, and establish MOUs/tie-up agreements with recruitment consultancies, staffing agencies, and MNC HR teams
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of internship and job opportunities across Finance, Accounting, and Business functions
- Coordinate campus-to-corporate drives, virtual placement fairs, and recruiter engagement sessions
- Act as the primary liaison between Finnexwise students and hiring partners, facilitating end-to-end placement support
- Negotiate and manage placement partnership terms, ensuring mutual benefit for all stakeholders
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the Founder in building organizational culture, policies, and SOPs as the company scales
- Assist in onboarding freelance trainers, subject matter experts, and administrative staff
- Monitor industry trends in HR, EdTech hiring, and finance job markets to keep Finnexwise offerings competitive
- Participate in social media content creation related to career tips, placement success stories, and student testimonials
Candidate Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (MBA in HR preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 24 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, training & development, or EdTech student success roles
- Prior experience in a startup or EdTech environment is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in building corporate tie-ups or placement partnerships is a significant advantage
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (Bengali proficiency is a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability in a fully remote setting
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, and digital collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Notion, etc.)
- Comfortable with basic CRM or student management systems
- High level of empathy, student-first mindset, and passion for career development
Terms & Conditions
- This is a full-time, work-from-home position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Candidate must have a reliable internet connection, a dedicated workspace, and a personal laptop/desktop
- A probationary period of 3 months will apply, during which performance will be evaluated against defined KPIs
- Post-confirmation, performance-linked increments and bonuses will be applicable based on placement outcomes and training delivery metrics
- The candidate will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and an Employee Confidentiality Agreement
- All student data, institutional tie-up information, and proprietary training content remain the exclusive intellectual property of Finnexwise
- Notice period: 30 days (applicable post-confirmation)
- Moonlighting for competing EdTech platforms is not permitted during the term of employment
