Key Responsibilities
A. Payroll Management
Manage end-to-end payroll attendance verification, leave reconciliation, salary processing, deductions,
and F&F settlements.
Coordinate with Accounts for timely disbursement of salaries and reconciliation of statutory contributions
(PF, ESI, TDS, PT, etc.).
Maintain complete and accurate payroll and salary records, with focus on compliance and confidentiality.
Prepare monthly headcount, CTC statements, and payroll MIS for management review.
B. Statutory Compliance & Labour Relations
Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable statutory and labour laws (Factories Act, Shops &
Establishments Act, EPF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.).
Handle labour department inspections, audits, and government liaison with confidence and
professionalism.
Maintain and submit all statutory registers, returns, and records on time.
Address labour-related issues tactfully and ensure smooth resolution in coordination with management.
Keep management informed on any legislative or policy changes impacting HR practices.
C. HR Operations
Oversee joining formalities employee data collection, documentation, ID/email creation, and
onboarding coordination.
Maintain and regularly update employee records, personal files, and master HR database (digital and
physical).
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across payroll, compliance, and HR systems.
Support periodic audits and provide timely HR-related reports as required by management.
Assist in performance-related data collation and appraisal support, as needed.
D. Administrative Coordination
Manage coordination of day-to-day administrative activities and ensure smooth functioning of office
operations.
E. Recruitment Support
Handle recruitment coordination for staff and mid-level roles as and when required.
Desired Profile
Graduate / Postgraduate in Human Resources, Labour Laws, or Business Administration.
1015 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and Compliance in a medium to large
setup.
Strong working knowledge of PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, TDS, and labour laws.
Hands-on experience with payroll systems, Excel, and Tally or HRMS tools.
Practical exposure in handling labour officials and audits.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
Problem solver with a sense of ownership and maturity in handling people and processes.
