Key Responsibilities

1. Manpower Planning & Recruitment

 

• Plan and organize manpower requirements

• Recruit skilled and unskilled labor

• Conduct background verification and maintain employee records.

• Coordinate joining formalities and induction training.

 

2. Attendance & Payroll Management

 

• Monitor attendance, shift schedules, and leave records.

• Manage payroll processing including overtime, allowances, and deductions.

• Maintain proper documentation for contract and daily-wage workers.

• Prepare and manage incentive calculations based on performance

• Handle yearly bonus preparation in line with company policy

3. Statutory Compliance

 

• Ensure compliance with Labour Laws, Factories Act, and Mines Act (if applicable).

• Maintain registers and records required by PF, ESI, and other statutory authorities.

• Coordinate with government officials during inspections.

• Handle ESI & PF filings, register preparation, and responsesto statutory notices.

 

4. Employee Relations & Discipline

 

• Maintain healthy communication between management and workers.

• Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and counseling sessions.

• Promote team spirit, cooperation, and a positive work environment.

 

5. Training & Development

 

• Identify training needs for staffs.

• Train employees as per the company policies.

 

6. HR Administration

 

• Maintain employee files, ID cards, and service records.

• Prepare HR reports including attendance summary, manpower strength, and turnover rate.

7. Performance appraisal & Retention

 

• Assist in performance evaluations of staff and workers.

• Recommend incentives and recognition programs to boost morale.

• Plan welfare activities to reduce absenteeism and attrition.

• Staff engagement initiatives.

• Motivate employees to enhance productivity and commitment.

 

8. Gamification in HR

Gamification uses game-like elements — such as points, badges, leaderboards, and challenges — in non-gaming settings to make work more engaging and rewarding. It transforms routine HR activities into interactive, goal-oriented experiences, enhancing motivation, participation, and overall employee engagement.

9. Data Coordination and Compilation

Responsible for coordinating across departments to collect, consolidate, and present data to the Managing Director in an organized, accurate, and visually clear manner. This role involves systematic data gathering, timely compilation, and preparation of management reports and presentations.
