Job Title: HR Manager

Job Summary
The HR Manager will oversee all human resource functions within a BFSI, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance, and a high-performance culture. The role requires strong understanding of financial services environments, fast-paced trading operations, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Develop and execute hiring strategies for roles such as dealers, relationship managers, research analysts and back-office staff
Coordinate with department heads to forecast hiring needs
Manage end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, interviews, onboarding)
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
Handle onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits
Maintain employee records and HRIS systems
Ensure smooth induction for roles involving trading platforms and compliance norms
3. Performance Management
Design and implement performance appraisal systems
Monitor KPIs for revenue-driven roles (e.g., sales, trading teams)
Support management in performance improvement plans
4. Compensation & Benefits
Develop competitive salary structures aligned with market standards
Manage incentives/commission structures for sales and trading staff
Administer payroll, bonuses, and benefits
5. Compliance & Regulatory HR
Ensure adherence to labor laws and financial industry regulations
Coordinate with compliance teams for regulatory requirements (e.g., exchange guidelines, audits)
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and trading-related information
6. Training & Development
Identify training needs (product knowledge, trading systems, compliance, soft skills)
Organize workshops on financial markets, risk management, and client handling
Promote continuous learning culture
7. Employee Engagement & Retention
Drive engagement initiatives in a high-pressure trading environment
Address employee grievances and maintain positive workplace culture
Implement retention strategies for key talent
8. HR Operations & Policies
Develop and update HR policies specific to financial services
Ensure discipline, code of conduct, and ethical practices
Manage attendance, leave, and workforce productivity
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of HR practices in BFSI or financial services
Knowledge of regulatory environment (SEBI guidelines is a plus)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage high-pressure, target-driven teams
Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability
Confidentiality and ethical judgment
Qualifications:
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
1–4 years of HR experience, preferably in BFSI sector, financial services or broking
Additional Preferred Experience:
Experience in BFSI, stock broking firms, wealth management companies, or brokerage houses
Familiarity with roles like equity dealers, derivatives traders, and relationship managers
