Job Title: HR Intern (Human Resources Intern)
Location: On-site (Kochi)
Duration: 6 Months Internship (Post internship, we expect the engineer to join us as full time employee)
Stipend: As per company policy
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to support our Human Resources and Talent Acquisition functions. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, employee engagement, HR documentation, and coordination with internal teams.
This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn HR practices in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Assist in sourcing candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and referrals
Screen resumes and coordinate interview schedules
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers
Communicate with candidates regarding interview status and follow-ups
HR Operations
Support onboarding and offboarding activities
Assist in maintaining employee records and HR documentation
Help track attendance, leave, and basic HR metrics
Coordinate with internal teams for HR-related requirements
Employee Engagement & HR Initiatives
Assist in planning employee engagement activities
Support HR events, training sessions, and internal communications
Help in drafting HR policies, announcements, and email communications
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare basic HR reports and Excel trackers
Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR data
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR or a related field
Skills
Basic understanding of HR concepts and recruitment process
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
Willingness to learn and take ownership
Strong coordination and follow-up skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Familiarity with job portals (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn)
Basic knowledge of HRMS tools
Prior internship or project experience in HR
