Job Description

Bovye is an early-stage startup building the execution OS for founders — a platform that helps people go from idea to structured launch. We are pre-launch, forming our founding team, and looking for our first HR person to build the people function from scratch.

This is not a support role. You are the HR function.

Role Description

We are looking for an HR & People Intern for a remote, flexible role based out of Pune. You will work directly with the founder to build everything related to people — hiring, onboarding, culture, and team operations — from day zero. There is no existing system. You design it.

Responsibilities include owning end-to-end hiring for all open roles, sourcing candidates proactively across LinkedIn, college groups, and startup communities, screening applicants and coordinating interviews, onboarding new team members, maintaining the hiring tracker and team roster, tracking team contribution and activity, and helping shape Bovye's early culture and working norms.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive — you follow through without being reminded

Passionate about people, culture, and the startup ecosystem

Comfortable working with Google Sheets, LinkedIn, and basic documentation tools

Self-starter who takes ownership without needing hand-holding

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, or a related field

Prior experience in recruitment, HR, or people ops is a plus — not a requirement

Compensation

This is an unpaid internship. We are a pre-revenue startup and we are transparent about that. Equity is on the table for contributors who show consistent, high-quality work and genuine commitment to building Bovye. This is not a promise — it is an opportunity earned through contribution
