Job Description

Designation: Assistant Manager - HRIS

Office Location: Gurgaon

Position Description: The HRIS & HR Operations Specialist will manage and optimize the organization's HR technology, with a focus on Darwinbox administration and process automation. The role ensures data integrity, drives HR digital transformation, and supports HR operations across the employee lifecycle, serving as the primary point of contact for HR systems.

Key Responsibilities

A. HRIS & Tech HR (70%)

1. Darwinbox Administration

  • Own end-to-end administration of the Darwinbox platform across key modules (Core HR, Leave, Attendance, Onboarding, HRMS management, PMS, Payroll interface, Exit, etc.)
  • Configure workflows, approval chains, and employee data structures.
  • Manage user access, role permissions, and org hierarchies.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Darwinbox support.

2. Process Automation & Optimization

  • Identify gaps in HR processes and digitize workflows through Darwinbox.
  • Drive automation of onboarding, confirmation, performance reviews, helpdesk, and employee movements.
  • Create and maintain SOPs aligned with the system.

3. HR Data & Analytics

  • Ensure data quality and integrity across modules.
  • Build dashboards and automated reports (attrition, payroll inputs, employee movements).
  • Deliver insights to HRBPs and business leaders.

4. Tech Projects & Integrations

  • Lead HR tech projects such as new module rollouts, MIS automation, and integration with payroll, ITSM, LMS, or ERP.

5. User & Stakeholder Support

  • Train HR, managers, and employees on Darwinbox.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRMS -related escalations.

B. HR Operations (30%)

6. Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Support operational activities at few stages of employee life cycle -confirmation, internal transfers, and exits.
  • Manage payroll inputs, letters, employee records, and documentation.

7. Employee Helpdesk & Query Resolution

  • Handle employee queries related to policies, attendance, leave, benefits, and HR processes.
  • Ensure SLAs are met and escalate issues when required.

8. Compliance & Audit

  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with statutory requirements and internal policies.

9. Coordination with HRBPs & Business Teams

  • Support HRBPs with operational data, reports, and employee case management.
  • Ensure smooth execution of monthly and quarterly HR processes.

Key Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in HRIS or HR Operations roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Darwinbox (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (onboarding, payroll inputs, attendance, compliance, PMS).
  • Proficiency in Excel;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
