Job Description

Job Summary,

The HR Executive is responsible for end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, employee grievance handling, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labor laws), and coordination of legal and disciplinary matters. The role ensures compliance with applicable labor laws while supporting a healthy and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer coordination
  • Coordinate joining formalities, documentation, and induction programs
  • Maintain recruitment records and manpower reports

2. Employee Grievance & Complaint Handling

  • Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary issues
  • Conduct preliminary investigations and maintain confidentiality
  • Coordinate with management on corrective and preventive actions
  • Maintain grievance records and ensure timely resolution

3. Statutory Compliance (Labor Laws)

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws such as:
  • Shops & Establishment Act
  • Factories Act (if applicable)
  • Payment of Wages Act
  • Minimum Wages Act
  • Bonus, Gratuity, Leave laws
  • Prepare and maintain statutory registers and records
  • Coordinate with labor department during inspections and audits

4. PF, ESI & Payroll Compliance

  • Handle PF & ESI registration, monthly returns, and contributions
  • Manage employee enrollments, exits, and claim processes
  • Coordinate with payroll team to ensure statutory deductions and filings
  • Resolve PF/ESI-related employee queries

5. Legal & Disciplinary Matters

  • Coordinate with legal consultants for labor law matters
  • Assist in drafting show-cause notices, warning letters, and charge sheets
  • Support domestic inquiries and disciplinary proceedings
  • Handle statutory notices and legal correspondence

6. HR Operations & Documentation

  • Maintain employee records, HR MIS, and compliance documentation
  • Draft HR letters: appointment, confirmation, warning, termination, etc.
  • Support HR audits and internal reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA / PGDM in HR preferred

Experience

  • 25 years of experience in HR operations and statutory compliance
  • Strong exposure to PF, ESI, labor laws, and grievance handling

Skills & Competencies

  • Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
  • Good documentation and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, and payroll systems
