Purpose of the Role
The HR Executive / Senior HR Executive will play a pivotal, people-first role in enhancing and strengthening the employee experience at Schbang. This is a comprehensive HR position with a strong focus on employee engagement, retention, relations, and HR operations, while closely partnering with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent Acquisition, and leadership teams.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, demonstrates high emotional intelligence, and effectively balances employee advocacy with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Lead and drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, collaboration, and workplace satisfaction.
- Identify early signs of retention risks and collaborate with HRBPs and leadership to implement proactive action plans.
- Conduct regular employee touchpoints, skip-level meetings, and structured feedback sessions.
- Design and execute employee experience programs that reinforce a strong, people-first culture.
2. Employee Relations & Grievance Management
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns and workplace matters.
- Ensure fair, empathetic, and confidential resolution of grievances in alignment with company policies.
- Manage disciplinary processes and conflict resolution when necessary.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
3. HR Operations
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and exits.
- Maintain accurate documentation, employee records, and HRIS updates.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies including POSH, Code of Conduct, Anti-Discrimination, and Equal Opportunity guidelines.
- Support audits, reporting, and governance processes.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HRBPs to execute people strategies and organizational initiatives.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee transition and a strong new hire experience.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand team dynamics and recommend appropriate HR interventions.
- Manage confidential HR projects aligned with leadership priorities.
5. New Hire Experience
- Own and continuously enhance the onboarding journey to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
- Monitor early-stage engagement metrics to improve retention and productivity.
6. Strategic HR Initiatives
- Contribute to initiatives related to culture building, policy enhancement, organizational effectiveness, and employee well-being.
- Provide data-backed insights and HR metrics to support informed decision-making.
Skills & Experience Required
- 1.5 4 years of HR experience, preferably in a creative digital, integrated advertising, media, or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience in employee relations, engagement, and HR operations.
- High emotional intelligence with a strong people-first mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive problem-solving ability with a balanced approach to empathy and business needs.
- Working knowledge of POSH and core HR policies preferred.
