Job Description

Job Title: Senior HR

Department: Human Resources

Location: Thane

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Executive to support day-to-day human resource operations. The ideal candidate will handle recruitment, employee records, payroll coordination, and HR compliance while ensuring a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Compliance Management

  1. Ensure compliance with labour laws such as:
  2. Provident Fund (PF)
  3. Employee State Insurance (ESI)
  4. Professional Tax (PT)
  5. Gratuity Act
  6. Bonus Act

Payroll Compliance

  1. Coordinate with payroll team to ensure statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS)
  2. Validate monthly challans and returns filing
  3. Ensure timely payments to government authorities

Returns & Filings

  1. File monthly, quarterly, and annual returns
  2. Liaise with government departments (PF office, ESIC, Labor Office)
  3. Handle inspections and audits from authorities

4. Documentation & Audits

  1. Maintain employee records and compliance documentation
  2. Prepare reports for internal and external audits
  3. Ensure compliance documentation is updated and accessible

5. Policy Implementation

  1. Support HR policies aligned with statutory requirements
  2. Keep updated with changes in labour laws and regulations

6. Vendor & Consultant Coordination

  1. Work with compliance consultants, auditors, and legal advisors
  2. Ensure third-party vendors comply with statutory norms

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  2. 2–3 years of experience in HR operations (Freshers may be considered)
  3. Knowledge of HR processes, labour laws, and statutory compliance
  4. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email)
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with payroll and HRMS software
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  3. Problem-solving and conflict-handling skills
