Job Description

About the Role:

As an HR Executive, the incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment, day-to-day HR operations, and employee lifecycle processes for the firm. The objective is to build a strong talent pipeline, ensure smooth HR administration, and drive a consistent performance management process that supports the firm's growth and people goals.

Role and Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

● Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle — sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and closing positions within defined timelines.

● Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and consultants; maintain an active talent pipeline for critical roles.

● Conduct preliminary telephonic/HR screening interviews and coordinate technical/functional rounds with respective teams.

● Release offer letters, negotiate compensation within approved bands, and ensure timely closure of offers.

● Facilitate pre-joining formalities, background verification, and a structured onboarding/induction program for new joiners.

● Maintain and update recruitment trackers, dashboards, and MIS reports on a regular basis.

Day-to-Day HR Operations

● Maintain and update employee records, personal files, and the HRMS/HR database accurately and confidentially.

● Manage attendance, leave records, and coordinate with payroll for accurate and timely salary processing.

● Handle joining, confirmation, transfer, and full-and-final settlement documentation for employees.

● Draft and issue HR letters — offer, appointment, confirmation, promotion, increment, and relieving letters.

● Respond to day-to-day employee queries on HR policies, benefits, and procedures, ensuring timely resolution.

● Support statutory compliance activities such as PF, ESI, gratuity, and other labour law requirements.

● Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications to strengthen workplace culture.

Performance Management

● Drive the end-to-end performance appraisal cycle — goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals, ensuring adherence to timelines.

● Coordinate with department heads to ensure KRAs/KPIs are defined, tracked, and reviewed for all employees.

● Consolidate appraisal ratings, prepare performance reports, and support the management in compensation revision decisions.

● Identify underperformance trends and support managers in implementing performance improvement plans (PIPs).

● Maintain performance management records and ensure confidentiality of appraisal data.

Learning, Policy & General HR Support

● Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating learning & development programs for employees.

● Support in drafting, reviewing, and updating HR policies, SOPs, and the employee handbook as required.

● Handle exit formalities, conduct exit interviews, and prepare exit analysis reports.

● Ensure a healthy, compliant, and positive work environment in line with the firm's values and policies.

Support HR audits and ensure documentation is audit-ready at all times.
