Job Description

The ideal candidate shall have 10+ years of experience to lead, manage, and enable the implementation of effective HR and IR practices, people engagement initiatives, for creating a harmonious, capable, lean, efficient, and joyous environment in the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Decisions for approval of payments on welfare, employee-related, as per DOP
  • Recommending performance rating for people in HR & IPST
  • Recommendation of related capex proposals
  • Recommendation for any awards for the team members
  • Analysing and deciding on corrections to compliance-related issues
  • Recommending proposals for various cost-saving initiatives
  • Recommendation of Salary fixation for new joiners.
  • Authorised signatory for service certificates, salary certificate, bona fide certificate as per the policy
  • Approving all payments of bills on HR, authorising IUTA for HR related matters
  • Approve returnable gate passes related to HR & IPST.
  • Implementation of training programs as per the budget and as per the LET needs of officers
  • Recruitment of NAPS/NEEM as per the budget
  • Identifying training needs and nominating for the training program
  • Recommendation of proposals for union-related matters (Bonus, LTS, etc.)
  • Reviewing existing HR Policies, practices for the Unit, and making suitable updates in the policies.
  • Deployment of Corporate and Business HR policies and systems in the Unit.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair, and consistent management of NMS in TCF at the unit level.
  • Maintain the smooth running of the HRMS, AIMS, and Other Internal ATS.
  • Manage the information held on the HR database and personnel files and update them in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Proactively dealing with labour-related issues. Maintaining good rapport with the Government and external agencies.
  • Ensure closure of internal and external audit observations. Ensuring accurate reporting under CSA.
  • To monitor and take steps to control salaries and wages within the Budget.
  • To monitor and control all Admin and HR related costs.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent from a renowned institution, with experience in human resources or management
  • 10+ years of professional HR experience, ideally from a Manufacturing-oriented business, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
