Manager HR Compliance (Gig Workforce)
Role Summary
Responsible for ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance related to gig workers, contractors, and platform-based workforce operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance under applicable labour laws including CLRA, Code on Social Security, EPF, ESI (where applicable), Shops & Establishment, etc.
- Manage onboarding and documentation of gig workers.
- Develop compliance frameworks for aggregator-based workforce.
- Liaise with government authorities for inspections, notices, and audits.
- Maintain statutory registers, filings, and documentation.
- Conduct periodic internal compliance audits.
- Coordinate with payroll & operations teams for compliance alignment.
- Monitor state-specific gig worker regulations and advisories.
Eligibility
- 510 years of experience in HR Compliance.
- Mandatory experience in gig/aggregator platforms (Swiggy, Urban Company, Zepto, Zomato, etc.).
- Strong understanding of labour law amendments and gig worker regulations.
- Experience handling multi-state compliance.
