Job Description

Job Title: HR Business Partner

The Opportunity: We are looking to hire an experienced HR Manager who can lead the HR function at one of the group's upcoming ventures in e-commerce. The role requires 4-7 years of experience in HR Operations; and the ability to setup and run best in class human resource related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up HR processes:

  • Develop organization structure, policies, compensation and benefits structure etc. for a new entity in e-commerce.
  • Setup HR processes such as payroll, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, etc. Coordinate with group resources as well as external partners for the same.

Smooth running of HR operations:

  • Ensure that HR operations (e.g., payroll) are run seamlessly from the start. Processes should be automated to the extent possible.
  • Strengthen the organization by hiring the right talent and managing this talent so that a high performing team gets built; attrition should be controlled within reasonable limits.

Ensuring compliance:

  • Ensure all HR compliances, labour laws, etc. are strictly adhered to while setting processes and during regular operations.

Strategic HR initiatives/ Business Partnering:

  • Coordinate with management in setting up a high-performance company culture and to design and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Design and execute processes for talent development, employee engagement and performance management.
  • Benchmark compensation and benefits processes so as to hire and retain best talent.
  • Use data analytics in HR to provide people related insights to management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • MBA in HR with 4-7 years of experience.
  • Has detailed understanding of labour laws and HR compliances.
  • Should have run HR operations and processes for at least 5-6 years,
  • Must be excellent in oral and written communication and should be very good in people related matters. Should have exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior experience in setting up HR processes for a new entity, especially in an e-commerce setup will be preferred.

Location: Bangalore, with travel as required.
