Role Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives. This role will drive workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, talent development, and HR governance while ensuring adherence to compliance and organizational values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Partnership
Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver HR solutions aligned with business goals.
Support organizational design, talent planning, and capability-building initiatives.
Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights and proactive recommendations.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Handle employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely, fair, and confidential manner.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, culture programs, and feedback interventions.
Conduct skip-level meetings, pulse checks, and stay interviews to improve retention and satisfaction.
3. Performance Management
Facilitate goal-setting, mid-year, and annual performance review cycles.
Coach managers on performance discussions, corrective actions, and development planning.
Track performance metrics and support identification of high-potential and high-performing talent.
4. Talent Management & Development
Collaborate with L&D to identify skill gaps and execute competency development programs.
Support succession planning, leadership development, and talent reviews.
Participate in hiring decisions for critical and leadership roles when required.
5. HR Operations & Compliance
Oversee onboarding, employee life-cycle management, and exit processes for assigned business units.
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and statutory regulations.
Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and workforce analytics for management review.
6. Policy Implementation & Change Management
Communicate and implement HR policies and organizational changes effectively.
Drive structured change management initiatives with proper planning and tracking.
Guide managers and employees on policy interpretation and governance.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
Deep understanding of HR operations, employee relations, and performance management
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and coaching abilities
Data-driven mindset with strong HR analytics and reporting exposure
Good knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance
Qualification
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent from a recognized institution
58 years of relevant HR Business Partner experience, preferably in IT/Technology organizations
