Job Description

Role Overview:

The Senior Executive – HR Business Partner at Kinnect plays a role in partnering with business teams to strengthen engagement, performance, development, and retention, while also acting as a cultural ambassador and trusted advisor across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with team leads to understand business goals and team dynamics.

• Act as a trusted advisor on HR policies, performance issues, team morale, and retention strategies.

• Partner with the leadership team to facilitate workforce planning and organizational structure alignment.

  • Onboarding & Culture Integration

• Deliver engaging onboarding and induction experiences for new hires.

• Ensure smooth assimilation of new team members into their teams and culture.

• Act as a cultural torchbearer for Kinnect, helping reinforce values across functions.

  • Performance Management & Capability Building

• Facilitate performance review processes – mid-year, annual appraisals, and ongoing feedback sessions.

• Support managers in developing Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for their teams.

• Identify upskilling opportunities and collaborate with L&D for training programs.

Employee Engagement & Experience

• Conduct regular employee connects, skip-level meetings, stay interviews, and check-ins.

• Partner with the internal communication and engagement team to execute activities, celebrations, and wellness programs.

• Maintain pulse checks on morale and proactively address people-related concerns.

Exit & Attrition Management

• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for trends and actionable insights.

• Collaborate with managers and HR leadership to build retention strategies.

• Ensure a smooth and respectful offboarding experience for departing employees.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced agency, startup, or digital environment
  • Experience in an HRBP role
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Comfort working independently and taking ownership of verticals
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and HRMS tools
