About the Role

An HR Business Partner (HRBP) helps businesses achieve their goals by aligning HR strategy with business objectives. They work closely with business leaders and managers to create and implement people strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning: Develop and implement HR strategies and plans to support business objectives in the region
  • Employee relations: Manage employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Training and development: Provide training and development for managers and employees
  • Change management: Lead change management initiatives
  • Employer branding: Help build employer brand and attract and retain talent
  • HR processes: Oversee HR processes, such as payroll, benefits, and policy development
  • Employee lifecycle: Manage the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit

Skills and attributes

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA with appropriate experience preferred
  • 5+ years work experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the business, its strategy, and customers
  • Good understanding of HR functions, including payroll, benefits, and policy development
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks and run efficient recruiting and hiring processes
  • Ability to analyze employee reports to guide decision making
  • Ability to coach managers on effective leadership practices
