About The Role

Bikham Healthcare is seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to oversee and develop its global people operations. This is a pivotal role aimed at building a robust HR foundation that supports the company's growth trajectory across international markets, particularly in the US and India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, HR policies, compliance, performance management, and culture building. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strategic mindset who can design and implement scalable HR systems, ensure compliance with local labor laws, and foster a positive work environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the founders and leadership team to shape the company's HR strategy, promote organizational growth, and cultivate a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in Human Resources leadership roles, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in US HR/recruitment processes and night shifts within the last two years.
  • Proven experience managing HR operations in India, with exposure to US hiring practices and global workforce management.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee recruitment teams, develop HR policies, and implement HR systems that support organizational growth.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. An MBA in HR or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, US compliance standards, and global HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and foster a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire HR function, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, policies, compliance, and organizational development.
  • Build and optimize HR systems and processes to support the company's growth and international operations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing strategic HR guidance aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, particularly for senior and specialized US-based roles, ensuring the attraction of high-quality talent.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, and compliance documentation in accordance with Indian labor laws and US standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns, queries, and workplace issues professionally and empathetically.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, trust, and open communication through engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Coordinate performance management activities, including monthly check-ins, feedback collection, and performance reviews.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote motivation, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Ensure HR compliance and governance, maintaining structured records and supporting leadership in creating a compliant HR environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational change and development efforts.
