About The Role
This is a full-time remote role for a Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will support HR management through a variety of administrative and operational tasks. Responsibilities include managing and updating Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), assisting with benefits administration, supporting recruitment efforts, coordinating employee training initiatives, maintaining compliance documentation, and providing administrative assistance to the HR team. The individual will also play a key role in promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess strong communication skills to effectively support the HR functions and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices, including HR management and HR policies.
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and database management.
- Experience with benefits administration and employee records management.
- Ability to assist with employee training and development programs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a Human Resources or administrative role is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and updating HRIS data to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support benefits administration processes, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and facilitating orientation sessions.
- Support the organization and delivery of employee training and development programs.
- Maintain compliance documentation and ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide administrative support to the HR team.
- Contribute to fostering an inclusive and positive workplace environment.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to HR activities and metrics.
