What will you be doing

As an HSE Officer, you play a key role within our global Health, Safety & Environment community. You ensure that essential HSE processes are monitored, communication is clear and consistent, and data across the organization is reliable and actionable.

You will work closely with the Director Global HSE, the Corporate HSE Team, the full global HSE community, and operational management worldwide.
In this role, you manage HSE communication channels, ensure high-quality data in VelocityEHS, build dashboards and reports, and support audits and incident management processes.

Working responsibilities

You will be involved in a diverse range of tasks focused on reporting, communication, data quality, and process monitoring. You ensure global HSE standards are consistently applied and continuously improved.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating and publishing monthly, quarterly, and annual HSE reports and KPI dashboards

  • Performing proactive data analyses on key HSE topics

  • Supporting the distribution of HSE communication tools and materials

  • Reviewing and improving data quality within VelocityEHS

  • Coordinating the Safety Alert process

  • Supporting the planning of internal and external audits

  • Managing and improving HSE communication channels such as Vikipedia, SharePoint, and Engage

  • Promoting HSE awareness and engagement across the organization

You also help monitor global HSE processes, such as:

  • Incident Management

  • Performance Measurement

  • Auditing

  • Contractor Management

  • HSE Training & Competence

What do we ask from you

We are looking for someone who combines analytical skills with strong communication abilities. You enjoy working with data, improving processes, and collaborating with colleagues across different countries and cultures.

You bring:

  • NEBOSH Certificate, MVK, Safety & Security studies, or equivalent qualification

  • At least 2 years of HSE experience in a complex, global environment

  • Strong knowledge of VelocityEHS (or willingness to learn quickly)

  • A detailfocused mindset with strong data accuracy

  • A service-oriented attitude

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to tailor messages to internal and external candidates

  • Strong command of the English language

  • Comfortable working with digital tools such as SharePoint, MS Excel, and Power BI
