Description
The HSC Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by developing and implementing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to employees.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures to mitigate workplace hazards.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance, including incident investigations and audits.
- Provide training and support to employees on health and safety practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and health within the organization.
- Stay updated on changes in health and safety regulations and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL
- 5-8 years of experience in health and safety management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in India.
- Proficient in conducting safety audits and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and collaboration.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are preferred.
