Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee/Assistant Manager, Payroll Operations

This role is essential in optimizing payroll operations by leveraging payroll data, information and administering payroll to enhance workforce experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, operational support, and fostering collaboration across HR and business functions.

Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team of payroll analysts, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.

  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching to enhance efficiency.

2. Payroll Operations:

  • Oversee payroll activities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

  • Address and resolve complex payroll issues or escalations.

3. Reporting and Analytics:

  • Generate payroll reports for management review and decision-making.

  • Analyse trends and provide insights to improve payroll operations.

4. Compliance and Process Improvement:

  • Ensure compliance with US statutory requirements and company policies.

  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in Payroll or a related role, with a strong background in leadership.

  • Advanced proficiency in payroll software and reporting tools.

  • Five Days working from Office

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Certification in payroll management or HR operations.

  • Experience in process improvement and automation.

  • Preference of an understanding of Workday/HRMS Payroll module
