Case Management & Process Ownership:
- Take full ownership of the HR disciplinary case management process, from case initiation to resolution.
- Handle cases related to attendance management, call avoidance, job abandonment, unauthorized settlements, and other disciplinary issues.
- Ensure all cases are managed in line with company policies, HR best practices, and legal requirements.
2.Policy Guidance & Support:
- Provide expert guidance and advice to managers on HR policies related to disciplinary actions.
- Assist in the interpretation and application of HR policies, ensuring consistent and fair treatment of all employees.
- Develop and update HR policies related to disciplinary actions, ensuring they are current and in compliance with relevant laws.
3.Communication & Documentation:
- Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records of all disciplinary cases, including documentation of all actions taken.
- Communicate effectively with managers, employees, and other stakeholders throughout the disciplinary process.
- Prepare reports and presentations on disciplinary case trends, outcomes, and recommendations for policy improvements.
4.Empathy & Employee Support:
- Demonstrate empathy and active listening skills when dealing with employees involved in disciplinary cases.
- Provide support and guidance to employees throughout the disciplinary process, ensuring they understand the process and have access to necessary resources.
5.Critical Thinking & Decision Making:
- Apply critical thinking, judgment, and reasoning to evaluate complex disciplinary cases and determine appropriate actions.
- Work independently to resolve cases, making informed decisions based on company policies, past precedents, and legal guidelines.
6.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and other departments to ensure a consistent and integrated approach to disciplinary case management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to HR case management processes and tools.
Qualifications:
1.Education:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications in HR or a related field are highly desirable.
2.Experience:
- 3 years of experience in front-line HR roles, with a strong focus on managing HR disciplinary cases.
- Proven experience in managing complex disciplinary cases from start to finish within a US HR environment.
