The HR Policy & Compliance Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing HR policies and compliance frameworks across Jio Institute, ensuring alignment with institutional goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
This role will support in enabling a structured, scalable, and compliant HR ecosystem as a university, catering to both academic and non-academic workforce segments.
Job Details :
- Develop and institutionalize HR policy frameworks across recruitment, performance management, learning & development, compensation, and DEI initiatives.
- Design, draft, and maintain Employee and Faculty Handbooks in alignment with institutional standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and higher education regulations.
- Establish and manage compliance frameworks including audits, checklists, and reporting mechanisms.
- Lead investigations related to employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and policy violations.
- Identify HR-related risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive policy implementation through structured communication, training, and stakeholder alignment.
- Ensure consistent interpretation and application of policies across academic and administrative functions.
- Collaborate with academic leadership and administrative teams to contextualize policies effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should have Full Time Post Graduation / MBA in Human Resource specialization with a good academic record.
Minimum Experience:
About 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in HR policy formulation and compliance management. Experience in educational institutions or large organizations will be an added advantage.
