Role Overview
The position is for a detail-oriented professional to take complete ownership of end-to-end payroll management for the India region. Key requirements include expertise in:
- Payroll compliance and compensation processes.
- Cross-functional coordination.
- Day-to-day HR Operations and employee lifecycle support.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end India payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
- Validation: Verify monthly inputs like attendance, variable pay, deductions, reimbursements, and overtime.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (PF, ESI, LWF, Gratuity, Income Tax, etc.).
- Reporting & Audits: Prepare monthly payroll reports, reconciliation statements, and audit documentation.
- Employee Support: Resolve queries regarding salaries, payroll, and taxation.
- Collaboration: Work with Finance, Admin, and Business teams to ensure seamless processes.
- HR Operations: Support HRIS management, employee lifecycle updates, and exit formalities.
- Data Security: Maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy of compensation data.
- Optimization: Drive continuous improvements through process efficiency and automation.
Mandatory Experience
- Core Expertise: Hands-on experience in end-to-end India payroll management.
- Operational Knowledge: Working knowledge of daily HR Operations activities.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of India payroll compliance and statutory laws.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRMS, payroll tools, and MS Excel.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or a related field.
- Team Scale: Experience handling payroll for multi-location or high-volume teams.
- Specialized Exposure: Previous experience with HR analytics, process automation, and payroll audits.
