Job Description

HR Generalist / HR Coordinator will work in the human resources and organizational development function, ensuring efficient HR operations, regulatory compliance, and talent development. This role bridges day-to-day operational excellence, supporting 4 units under giving.HR personnel who has an experience in payroll and Compensation, Leave and Attendance Management,Compliance and legal,recruitment and PMS.

Core Responsibilities

A. HR Operations & Administration

Payroll & Compensation:

Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees across skill centers and polyclinic

Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, TDS, and other labor law requirements

Administer salary reviews, performance incentives, and compensation adjustments

Maintain payroll records and generate required reports

Ensure alignment with organizational budgets and cost control objectives

Employee Records & Data Management:

Maintain comprehensive and confidential employee records (physical and digital)

Manage employee databases

Process documentation for new joiners, transfers, and exits

Ensure data accuracy and compliance with data protection norms

Generate HR reports and analytics for management review

Leave & Attendance Management:

Administer leave policies (casual, sick, earned, special leave) across locations

Monitor attendance patterns and manage absenteeism

Process leave approvals and maintain leave records

Identify attendance issues and escalate to management as needed

Track and report on attendance metrics

Compliance & Legal:

Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws (Shops & Establishments Act, Labor Code, ESI, PF, etc.)

Maintain statutory registers and documentation

Coordinate with compliance consultants for regulatory updates

Prepare for external audits and inspections

Document grievance procedures and maintain confidentiality

B. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Sourcing & Selection:

Identify recruitment needs in consultation with department heads

Develop job descriptions and selection criteria

Source candidates through multiple channels (job portals, referrals, networking)

Manage end-to-end recruitment process from posting to offer letter

Conduct preliminary screening and coordinate interviews

Prepare selection reports with recommendations

Onboarding & Orientation:

Conduct comprehensive induction programs for new employees

Familiarize new staff with organizational values, policies, and culture

Facilitate role-specific training and mentoring

Track onboarding completion and gather feedback

Ensure smooth role transition and early engagement

C. Performance Management & Employee Relations

Performance Management:

Coordinate & Implement performance appraisal systems

Track performance metrics and identify training needs

Support managers in goal-setting and feedback conversations

Maintain performance records and documentation

E. Organizational Development

Policy Development:

Develop and update HR policies and standard operating procedures

Ensure policies are communicated clearly and consistently applied

Review policies periodically for relevance and compliance
