UCAM has a long history of engaged, productive employees, and we're looking for a Human Resources (HR) manager to continue that happy tradition. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR and recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures. The bulk of the role will involve employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation,labour laws, rewards, and conflict resolution, but there is great opportunity for developing and refining systems. We are eager to find an HR manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce.
Main/ Essential Task
- Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes
- Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages
- Assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records
- Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale
- Employee Master Audit on HRMS Tools
- Working with HR consulting firms and Head hunters to close executive positions
- Creating and Implementing HR Policies in the Organisation
- Digitisation of HR Processes
- To source, attract, interview and onboard candidates to specific executive positions
- Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind
- Create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience
- Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
- Plan interview and executive selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews if possible
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
- Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholder for executive search
- Organise Employee Events during Annual Day Celebration
- Handle confidential matters with description
- Implementation, audit and management of HR QMS Processes
- Implementation, audit and management of PMS on Digital platform i.e Zoho People
Competencies
- Good knowledge in microsoft office tools, knowledge in google workspace preferred.
- Basic knowledge on process flowcharts.
- Affinity towards data, reports, preparing presentations, research and data analysis.
- Good listening skills and ability to communicate in both English,Hindi and Kannada would be an advantage.
- Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
- Knowledge of HRMS Implementation and Management - Zoho People, Recruit and Payroll Preferred
- Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
