Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site HR Manager role located in Chennai. The HR Manager will oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, ensure compliance with labor laws, and manage employee relations and performance evaluations. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing HR policies, driving employee engagement initiatives, and handling payroll and benefits administration. The individual will act as a strategic partner to leadership, supporting organizational growth and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Workforce Planning
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance management
- Proficiency in Employee Relations and Performance Management processes
- Skills in Payroll Management and Benefits Administration
- Strong Organizational and Communication skills
- Problem Resolution, Conflict Management, and Leadership abilities
- Proficiency in HR Software and MS Office tools
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus
- Work experience in the trading or manufacturing industry is advantageous
