Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR support for people leaders and employees at the Sanand Manufacturing facility.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on core HR matters, ensuring employee relations issues are appropriately identified, investigated, documented, and resolved in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to employees with a strong focus on:
  • Employee advocacy and engagement
  • HR fundamentals and process awareness
  • Employee relations and grievance management
  • Performance management and compensation planning
  • Career development conversations, talent assessment, and retention initiatives
  • Drive and implement contemporary employee engagement initiatives aimed at building a motivated, inclusive, and diverse workplace.
  • Partner with and support various employee engagement and welfare councils to strengthen workplace culture and morale.
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute talent hiring initiatives in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders, aligned with workforce plans.
  • Partner closely with Site HR Leader, HRBP and Talent Partners to deliver business-aligned HR strategies, including participation in high-impact HR projects.
  • Advise managers and employees to ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and practices, maintaining 100% compliance and promoting a fair, ethical work environment
  • Maintain and safeguard confidential employee and business data with the highest level of integrity, discretion, and judgment.
  • Represent the HR function during statutory, EHS, Quality, Labor, and other audits, as required. Participate in mission-based and cross-functional project teams.
  • Advise and collaborate with HR colleagues on employee relations, union matters, and workforce issues.
  • Partner with business leaders and relevant stakeholders to drive CSR initiatives. Act as Welfare Lead for the manufacturing facility, as needed.
  • Deliver basic training sessions on HR & people-management related topics for employees and leaders.

Required Qualifications

  • PG Diploma in IR/ Personnel Management, Masters in Social Welfare/ MLW, PGDM (HR) or equivalent courses with good academic record.
  • 6 - 8 yrs of relevant experience in manufacturing setup.
  • Hands on experience in HRM.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, responsive and leadership skills. Ability to influence others.
  • Steer initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
