HR Manager – The Golden Time (Luxury Retail Watch Brand)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead the Human Resources operations for all our retail outlets across Gujarat. Based in our Ahmedabad Head Office, you will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations, with a strong focus on payroll management, compliance, attendance & leave tracking, and supporting smooth HR processes across all locations. You will be assisted by an on-ground HR executive based in Surat.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end HR operations for all 30+ retail stores across Gujarat.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, attendance, and leave management across the organization.
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, etc.).
  • Coordinate with store managers for day-to-day HR requirements, staffing needs, and employee concerns.
  • Support onboarding, documentation, and background verification of new hires across all branches.
  • Handle employee grievances, basic conflict resolution, and ensure a healthy workplace culture.
  • Work closely with the Surat-based HR executive to delegate tasks, ensure timely execution, and manage regional workload.
  • Support periodic audits and internal reporting related to headcount, HR costs, and compliance status.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies in coordination with business leaders.
  • Ensure proper implementation of company policies and HR best practices at all locations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–7 years of hands-on experience in HR Operations, preferably in retail or multi-location businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software, HRMS, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders across locations.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a small HR support team.
  • Prior experience in managing HR for retail stores or branch operations will be an added advantage.
