Role Overview
As an HR Intern, you will support the People team across hiring, candidate experience, onboarding, learning initiatives, and employee operations. This is not a shadow role. You will be expected to own tasks independently, follow up without reminders, and bring structure to day-to-day execution.
We are looking for someone who can think like a recruiter, operate like an HR generalist, and learn fast without needing constant handholding.
What You'll Work OnTalent Acquisition
- Support end-to-end hiring for internship, entry-level, and junior roles across business, product, tech, and operations teams.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, communities, and other relevant channels.
- Screen profiles basis role fit, communication, motivation, notice period, compensation expectations, and overall readiness.
- Coordinate interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain hiring trackers with clear comments, candidate status, rejection reasons, and next steps.
- Ensure candidate communication is timely, professional, and aligned with GreedyGame's hiring standards.
- Help improve sourcing quality, screening questions, and candidate shortlisting process.
L&D and Onboarding
- Support role-based onboarding journeys for new hires and interns.
- Help create, organise, and update onboarding material, learning documents, trackers, and assessments.
- Coordinate learning check-ins, quizzes, assignments, and feedback loops.
- Track completion, scores, and early learning gaps for new joiners.
- Work with managers to understand whether new hires are ramping up well or need additional support.
People Ops & HR Execution
- Support employee documentation, HRIS updates, joining formalities, and internal coordination.
- Help maintain clean employee and candidate records across tools.
- Support basic HR operations like attendance follow-ups, policy communication, employee data updates, and internal announcements.
- Assist in employee engagement, internal events, feedback collection, and HR communication.
- Bring better structure to recurring HR tasks instead of only executing them manually.
What We're Looking ForMust-Have
- Prior HR internship experience, preferably with exposure to end-to-end Talent Acquisition.
- Understanding of recruitment basics: sourcing, screening, coordination, follow-ups, offer discussions, and candidate experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates, roles, trackers, and follow-ups without losing details.
- Good ownership mindset — should not wait for repeated instructions.
- Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets, LinkedIn, job portals, and basic HR tools.
- Ability to write clear candidate comments, hiring updates, and internal summaries.
- High bias for action and comfort with a fast-paced startup setup.
Good to Have
- Exposure to onboarding, L&D, employee engagement, or people operations.
- Experience working on hiring trackers, ATS tools, HRMS, or recruitment dashboards.
- Ability to create simple learning material, assessment questions, onboarding checklists, or process notes.
- Interest in understanding business roles, product teams, tech hiring, and startup people challenges.
Who Will Do Well Here
You will enjoy this role if you:
- Like recruitment and are not afraid of chasing closures.
- Can follow up with candidates and stakeholders without feeling awkward.
- Don't need every task to be spoon-fed.
- Can bring order to messy information.
- Are comfortable asking questions, but also try to solve things first.
- Care about candidate experience and professional communication.
- Want to learn how HR works in a real startup, not just from policy documents.
Who This Role Is Not For
This may not be the right fit if you are looking for:
- A very structured HR internship with fixed daily tasks only.
- A purely employee engagement or admin-heavy role.
- A role where you only observe and do not own execution.
- Constant handholding for every follow-up, tracker, or candidate conversation.
