Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship will provide valuable exposure to a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about HR, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and screening candidates through job portals, social media, and internal databases.
  • Support interview scheduling and coordination between candidates and interviewers.
  • Help with onboarding formalities for new hires including documentation and orientation.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR databases and systems.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives, events, and surveys.
  • Support payroll preparation by collecting relevant data (absences, leaves, etc.).
  • Help maintain compliance with labour regulations and internal HR policies.
  • Participate in ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a team-oriented environment.
