Role Title: Human Resources Intern (On-site, Ahmedabad)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment: draft job postings, screen CVs, coordinate interviews, and conduct initial candidate outreach.
  • Maintain HRIS and ATS recordsensure accurate candidate and employee data, update statuses, and manage document filing.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics: prepare offer documentation, collect new-hire paperwork, schedule inductions, and facilitate equipment access.
  • Assist payroll and attendance processes by collecting timesheets, recording leave, and liaising with the payroll team for timely processing.
  • Generate routine HR reports and dashboards (time-to-hire, headcount, attrition) using Excel or Google Sheets to support HR decisions.
  • Organize employee engagement and learning events; support basic compliance tasks and audit-ready documentation management.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Commerce, or related field.
  • Practical proficiency in MS Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms).
  • Familiarity with HRIS or ATS platforms or strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
  • High attention to detail, discretion handling confidential information, and reliable organizational skills.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in India and coordinate across small cross-functional teams.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment lifecycle and interest in HR operations and employee experience.

Preferred

  • Prior internship or exposure to recruitment, onboarding, or HR operations in an agency or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with Indian payroll basics and statutory compliance (PF, ESI) a plus.
  • Must be able to find required candidates, schedule interviews, shortlist, onboard.
