Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Strategic HR Leadership

  • Shape and execute the HR strategy for a large‑scale, high‑growth consumer business of significant strategic importance.
  • Act as a senior advisor to the Group CHRO and business leadership on organisation structure, workforce planning, talent strategy, and long‑term capability building.
  • Lead transformation initiatives across culture, digital HR, leadership readiness, and future‑skills capability.



2. Enterprise‑Wide People Agenda

  • Own full‑spectrum HR including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Rewards, ER/IR, HR Operations, and DEI.
  • Build strong leadership pipelines and ensure succession readiness for key roles.
  • Drive culture, engagement, and employee experience across diverse workforce cohorts.



3. Business Partnership at Scale

  • Serve as a core member of the business leadership team, influencing business strategy through people insights.
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, operations, technology, supply chain, finance, and corporate functions.
  • Navigate high‑scale, high‑ambiguity environments with sound judgement and strong business acumen.



4. Team Leadership & Governance

  • Lead and mentor a large HR organisation across multiple verticals and regions.
  • Drive capability development, operational excellence, and strong HR governance.
  • Strengthen policy frameworks, compliance, and risk management across a multi‑layered structure

The Successful Applicant

Experience

  • 23+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in large, consumer‑oriented organisations (FMCG, Retail, E‑commerce, Consumer Tech, etc.).
  • Proven success in full‑stack HR leadership roles managing large business units or enterprise HR mandates.
  • Experience partnering with Boards, CXOs, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong exposure to transformation, scale‑up environments, OD interventions, and organisational design.



Capabilities

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and strong business orientation.
  • Deep expertise across the HR value chain: talent, performance, rewards, culture, capability building, and organisational development.
  • Ability to operate in high‑growth, high‑change, digitally enabled environments.
  • Mature leadership presence with strong influencing capabilities.



Education

  • Preferably from premier institutions with strong academic pedigree (MBA/PGDM in HR/IR/OB or equivalent).
