HR Operations Executive / People Operations Executive
Reporting To : HR Head
About the Role
We are looking for a smart, proactive, and energetic HR Operations Executive who can own end-to-end HR
processes and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of people operations in a fast-paced startup environment.
This role requires someone who is excellent with Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards, data, highly organised, and
passionate about building clean systems and great employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Onboarding
Coordinate pre-joining formalities, documentation, and joining-day experience
Create onboarding plans, welcome kits, accounts, and system access
Ensure a smooth first-week experience for new hires
2. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain and update all HR documents, employee files, contracts, and forms
Ensure accuracy and completeness of records across folders & trackers
Manage HR database and ensure data hygiene at all times
3. Attendance & Leave Management
Track attendance, leaves, late marks, and monthly reconciliation
Follow up with employees and leads for discrepancies
Work with managers to ensure accurate monthly attendance reports
4. Employee Queries & Support
Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
Resolve concerns with speed, empathy, and professionalism
Provide proactive support to employees and managers
5. Engagement & Culture Activities
Plan and execute employee engagement activities, celebrations, and events
Drive culture initiatives, communication, surveys, and pulse checks
Suggest new ideas to keep the team connected and motivated
6. Basic HR Admin
Manage HR-related logistics, documentation, letters, systems, and coordination
Support daily operations to ensure smooth functioning
Handle vendor coordination where needed
7. Payroll Inputs
Prepare accurate monthly payroll inputs: attendance, leaves, new joiners, exits, variable payouts
Coordinate with finance/payroll team for processing and resolving queries
8. Offboarding
Manage exit process, documentation, clearance, and communication
Conduct exit formalities and ensure smooth handover
Update records, access removal, and final documentation
9. Trackers, Dashboards & Reporting
Maintain and update all HR trackers and folders (attendance, leaves, hiring, onboarding, exits, etc.)
Create dashboards & reports for:
Prepare PPTs and presentations for leadership reviews
Analyse trends and share insights proactively
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, dashboards, pivot tables)
Strong skills in PowerPoint (presentations, data storytelling)
Excellent coordination skills
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Proactive, fast learner, and able to work independently
Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
Energetic, positive attitude, and passion for people operations
