Job Summary
The Plant HR Officer / HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations at the manufacturing unit. The role focuses on workforce management, employee relations, statutory compliance, recruitment support, and fostering a positive and productive work culture at the plant. The position requires close coordination with production teams and plant management to ensure smooth HR functioning.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
- Manage day-to-day HR activities at the plant
- Maintain employee records, attendance, and HR documentation
- Handle onboarding, induction, and exit formalities
Recruitment & Staffing
- Coordinate hiring for plant-level positions
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews
- Support manpower planning as per production requirements
Employee Relations
- Address employee queries, concerns, and grievances
- Promote a safe, productive, and harmonious work environment
- Conduct employee engagement and communication initiatives
Statutory Compliance & Payroll Support
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, etc.)
- Coordinate with the payroll team for attendance, leave data, and wage processing
- Support audits and statutory inspections
Training & Development
- Identify training needs for plant employees
- Coordinate skill development, induction, and safety training programs
Health, Safety & Welfare
- Monitor workplace safety, hygiene, and employee welfare facilities
- Support implementation of HR, safety, and disciplinary policies
Eligibility Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 35 years of experience in Plant HR or HR Operations (manufacturing industry preferred)
- Good understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills
- Ability to handle employee engagement and conflict resolution
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
