Human Resources Manager On-site, India

About The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to own HR operations, build high-impact people programs, and act as a trusted partner to business leaders. This role is based on-site in India and requires strong operational discipline, labour-law knowledge, and experience running recruitment, compensation, and employee relations end-to-end.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle talent acquisition for assigned business units: create role profiles, source candidates, coordinate interviews, close offers and manage onboarding to shorten time-to-fill.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including performance cycles, promotions, transfers, and separations with consistent documentation and SOPs.
  • Administer compensation & benefits programs and coordinate payroll processing with vendors to ensure accurate, timely payouts and reconciliations.
  • Ensure statutory compliance across India (EPF, ESI, PT, labour statutes); run periodic audits and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive employee relations initiatives: coach managers, conduct investigations, resolve grievances, and implement retention strategies.
  • Implement and optimise HRIS, generate HR dashboards and analytics, and introduce process improvements to increase HR efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven HR generalist/manager experience in India with demonstrated ownership of recruitment, statutory compliance, payroll coordination and employee relations.
