Unit Hr & Admin Job Description

Under the general guidance and supervision of Manager HR and within the limit of policies and procedures, assist in the maintenance of a smooth and effective day to day work routine, takes care of employee queries in daily work, and provides administration support to the department, assists in the maintenance of the monthly training activities and providing training support to various departments and not limiting to Human Resources

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Conduct the initial screening and first-level interviews of candidates and coordinate subsequent interview rounds with the concerned department managers or heads.
  • Ensure timely closure of manpower requirements for the cinema within the approved budget.
  • Maintain accurate and updated daily attendance records for all on-roll and outsourced employees.
  • Monitor staff discipline and coordinate with HO HR / Agency HR for taking timely action on issues related to misconduct, integrity, or absenteeism.
  • Follow up on employee life-cycle processes including probation, training, confirmation, and full & final settlement; ensure all related documentation is completed on time.
  • Address and resolve employee queries within a reasonable turnaround time, ensuring effective communication and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain organizational hierarchy and ensure adherence to professional email etiquette across the cinema team.
  • Plan and conduct various employee engagement activities to promote staff motivation and development. Conduct Employee Induction and trainings at Cinema Level.
  • Coordinate the requirement, issuance, and record keeping of employee ID cards, name tags, and uniforms; ensure recovery of issued items at the time of employee exit.
  • Ensure 100% statutory compliance with company policies and applicable labour laws for state. Maintaining Statutory Compliance Registers updated on monthly basis.
  • Provide assistance in administrative activities and support day-to-day operational requirements.
  • Prepare, collate, and share manpower reports with the corporate office on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Compile and submit monthly attendance registers for both on-roll and outsourced employees to support payroll processing.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy of all personal and employment-related information in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of employee documentation, leaves and duty rosters.
