We're Hiring: HR Executive Payroll & Compliance

Location: Pune / Mumbai (Maharashtra Region)

Experience: 37 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Notice Period: Immediate 15 Days

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Executive Payroll & Compliance . The role involves end-to-end payroll management, statutory filings, employee reimbursements, and ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws across the Maharashtra region.

Payroll Management

End-to-end payroll processing using payroll platforms

Prepare payroll adjustment files and collate variable pay inputs

Coordinate with new joiners and banks for salary account setup

Validate payroll inputs vs outputs and perform quality checks

Prepare salary registers, bank upload files, and approval documents

Ensure salary credit within defined TAT

Upload monthly e-payslips and tax/perk data

Handle TDS validation and quarterly returns

Support annual investment proof and declaration activities

Prepare salary fitment during appraisal cycles and for new hires

Employee Reimbursements

Process monthly employee reimbursement claims

Communicate rejections with clear justification

Prepare bank upload files and approvals

Address employee reimbursement-related queries

Perform year-end reconciliation of paid vs pending claims

Full & Final Settlement (F&F)

Manage F&F processing post system termination and asset handover

Validate F&F calculations and ensure approvals

Issue experience letters / recovery letters

Support exited employees with PF transfer/withdrawal

Ensure gratuity payment within statutory timelines

Resolve exit-related employee queries

Statutory Compliance

Coordinate with compliance vendors to ensure adherence to labour laws

Manage registrations, licences, and renewals under labour acts

Handle EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, MLWF processing and returns

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings

Handle inspections, audits, and compliance reviews

Maintain statutory registers and records

Ensure compliance under Shop & Establishment Act

Manage Contract Labour Compliance, contractor data & annual returns

Handle compliance under Maternity Benefit Act

Qualifications & Skills

Postgraduate qualification in HR / Management

34 years of hands-on experience in Payroll & Compliance

Strong numerical & data analysis skills

In-depth knowledge of labour laws & statutory compliance

Strong understanding of payroll policies & HR procedures

Ability to handle audits, inspections, and employee queries

Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
