Job description:
This is a unique hybrid internship designed for a dynamic individual who is passionate about both people and digital storytelling. You will dedicate approximately50% of your time to digital marketing initiatives and50% to human resources tasks.
The ideal candidate is an extroverted, confident, and creative individual who is not afraid to be in front of and behind the camera. A major part of this role will involve creating engaging video content by interacting with the public in high-traffic areas like malls and streets to grow our social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing (50%)
- On-the-Ground Content Creation:Conceptualize, plan, and execute vox pop style videos, street interviews, and public challenges.
- Video Production:Confidently approach and interview members of the public in malls, on streets, and at events to create authentic and engaging short-form video content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
- Video Editing:Perform basic editing on raw footage to create compelling, shareable videos (adding captions, music, and basic graphics).
- Social Media Management:Assist in managing our social media profiles, scheduling posts, and actively engaging with our community through comments and messages.
- Content Strategy:Contribute fresh ideas for our content calendar and research trending topics, sounds, and formats.
- Performance Analytics:Help track and analyze key metrics (views, engagement rate, follower growth) to understand what resonates with our audience.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO):Optimize content for search engines to increase visibility and drive organic traffic to our videos and social media channels.
Human Resources (50%)
- Recruitment Support:Assist in sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for various open positions.
- Candidate Communication:Act as a point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Onboarding:Help prepare onboarding materials and coordinate orientation sessions for new hires.
- Employee Engagement:Support the planning and execution of internal team-building activities, events, and cultural initiatives.
- HR Administration:Assist with maintaining employee records and other day-to-day administrative HR tasks.
