HR Business Partner

Location:

(Need to handle team of 150-250)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage employee lifecycle processes post-onboarding: 30/60/90-day connects, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Coordinate payroll-related activities such as time sheet compliance and leave adjustments with the payroll/finance team.
  • Support employee benefits administration (enrollments, claims, vendor coordination).
  • Update employee records in HRIS (PeopleSoft/Workday): salary changes, role updates, bonuses, personal details.

2. Employee Support & Grievance Handling

  • Address employee queries related to payroll, leave, policies, and benefits.
  • Assist in Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) and maintain related documentation.
  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure smooth exit formalities (settlements, documentation, asset recovery).
  • Handle employee grievances and escalate issues appropriately for resolution.

3. Compliance & Audit Support

  • Maintain accurate employee documentation and ensure adherence to labor law requirements.
  • Support internal and external HR audits by preparing required documentation.
  • Drive compliance through regular HR policy refresher sessions and training.

4. HRIS & Reporting

  • Maintain accuracy of employee data in HRIS systems.
  • Generate reports on headcount, attrition, and other key HR metrics.
  • Assist with data audits and help troubleshoot HR system issues reported by employees.

5. Reward & Recognition

  • Execute established Reward & Recognition programs (monthly awards, spot awards, service anniversaries).
  • Collect nominations and coordinate award ceremonies or virtual announcements.
  • Provide inputs for improving recognition practices based on employee feedback.

6. Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives: fun activities, wellness sessions, town halls, etc.
  • Help drive participation and collect feedback on engagement initiatives.
  • Support HRBP team in follow-ups from employee engagement survey results.

7. Cost saving

  • Hold a strong governance to save HR costs (mostly related to separation, Leave, LOP)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: MBA in HR / Master's degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant HR experience in operations or HRBP roles, preferably in the IT/technology sector.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft preferred).
