Job Description

As an HR Business Operations Specialist for EMEA at Medtronic, you will provide essential centralized human resource administration and support across diverse HR processes and programs, including Global Rewards, Talent & Leadership Development, HR Operations, and Employee Relations. You will collaborate with the HR function to ensure operational excellence, accurate inquiry responses, efficient transaction processing, and effective program administration.

A Day in the Life

You will contribute to a seamless HR experience across EMEA by:

  • Providing centralized HR administration and support for Global Rewards, Global Talent & Leadership Development, Global HR Operations, and Employee Relations.
  • Collaborating with the HR function to establish operational standards and procedures.
  • Ensuring accurate responses to customer inquiries, efficient transaction processing, and effective administration of HR programs.
  • Utilizing key HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Generating and providing reports to customers, with diligent follow-up to address their needs.
  • Supporting inquiries related to labor law.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by working closely with AskHR country coordinators and the broader HR Services team.
  • Proactively facilitating efficient information flow between HR Partners and other relevant parties.
  • Assisting in a wide variety of general HR projects, providing technical and highly skilled clerical and project coordination support to EMEA Group HR.
  • Supporting Senior Leaders with queries related to HR systems and directing customers to additional resources (e.g., documented information, self-service tools).

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar HR operations or administrative position.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Well-organized with an aptitude for paperwork and strong follow-up skills.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Active and good listener, team player, with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Results and quality-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent command of MS Office programs, including advanced Excel experience.

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of Workday or ServiceNow.
