SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced HR and Recruitment Specialist to lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles while ensuring hiring practices align with Indian labor laws and HR compliance standards. This role will partner closely with business leaders to attract high-quality engineering and technology talent across India, while also serving as a knowledgeable resource on employment regulations, hiring compliance, and HR best practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Recruitment
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical positions including software engineering, data, infrastructure, and product-focused roles.
- Work closely with hiring managers to translate technical requirements into clear hiring strategies and sourcing plans.
- Identify and engage high-quality candidates through direct sourcing, professional networks, talent communities, and referrals.
- Conduct structured candidate evaluations that assess technical capability, problem-solving ability, and team fit.
- Manage the full interview lifecyclefrom initial outreach through offer negotiation and acceptance.
- Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines for recurring technical roles.
HR Compliance & Labor Law Support
- Ensure hiring practices comply with Indian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Support HR and leadership teams with guidance on employment contracts, statutory compliance, and hiring policies.
- Stay updated on relevant labor legislation affecting hiring and employment in India.
- Assist with documentation and compliance requirements related to onboarding and employment.
- Partner with HR teams to ensure proper adherence to local employment standards and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder & Candidate Management
- Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers by providing market insights, compensation benchmarking, and hiring strategy recommendations.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with HR, People Operations, and leadership to support scalable hiring processes.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation within the ATS.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, with significant exposure to technical hiring.
- Solid understanding of Indian labor laws, HR compliance, and employment regulations.
- Proven ability to source and hire for engineering and technical roles.
- Experience working with ATS platforms and sourcing tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
