About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced HR & Operations Manager to oversee people management and daily operations at a premium fitness center. This role is critical in ensuring a high-performance team, smooth operations, and an exceptional member experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of fitness trainers, sales, and front-office staff
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and performance management systems
- Manage attendance, payroll coordination, employee records, and compliance
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes
- Drive employee engagement, culture, and retention initiatives
Operations
- Oversee day-to-day fitness center operations and staff scheduling
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and service quality standards
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, vendors, and inventory
- Monitor operational budgets, costs, and KPIs
- Handle member feedback and ensure high satisfaction levels
- Support sales, retention, and service improvement initiatives
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field
- 47 years of experience in HR and/or Operations (fitness, hospitality, or wellness industry preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of labor laws and operational best practices
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
