Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR and Admin Associate to support our HR operations and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and contribute to employee engagement, administrative support, and vendor management processes.
Key Responsibilities:

- People Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Own the entire journey for new hires—from contract generation and background checks to Day 1 orientations and equipment provisioning.
- HRMS Management: Maintain 100% data integrity in our HRMS (GreytHR). Use data to provide monthly reports on turnover, headcount, and diversity.
- Payroll & Benefits: Coordinate with finance/vendors to ensure monthly payroll is seamless. Manage local benefits enrollment (Health Insurance, PF/401k, etc.).
- Policy Ownership: Draft and update the Employee Handbook to ensure it reflects current labor laws and our evolving startup culture.
- Talent Acquisition Support
- Pipeline Management: Support hiring managers by posting roles, screening resumes for cultural fit, and managing the interview scheduling loop.
- Employer Branding: Help manage the company's LinkedIn presence and Glassdoor profile to attract top-tier talent.
- Office Administration & Facilities
- Workplace Experience: Manage the physical office space, including vendor management (cleaning, snacks, security).
- Procurement: Oversee the purchase of IT hardware and office supplies, ensuring cost-efficiency without sacrificing quality.
- Event Planning: Lead the execution of team off-sites, monthly Fun Fridays, and holiday celebrations.
- Compliance & Legal
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure the company stays ahead of local labor regulations, filings, and audit requirements.
- Documentation: Audit and maintain all physical and digital employee files.
Requirements:
- Experience: 4–6 years in an HR/Admin role, with at least 2-3 years in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in HRMS tools, Slack, Google Workspace, and project management software (Notion/Asana).
- Problem Solver: You don't just report a problem; you come to the table with two possible solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can deliver sensitive news with empathy and clarity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. (Professional certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus).
